Clipper Marine now has the capability to manage the computer network of its entire fleet from shore with Dualog’s solution. In the coming months, 22 of its tankers will be fully installed with Dualog® Connection Suite™ along with a new VSAT broadband network's expanding global coverage area.

The decision for the Copenhagen-based Clipper Marine Services to deploy Dualog's solution was spurred by the global trend of using broadband at sea. Built within a single integrated environment, Dualog Connection Suite provides Clipper Marine with a suite of solutions to manage its ship and shore operations. The web-based solution allows shore administrators full control to data management/traffic wherever the ship is, from any web browser.

Integrated with a specially designed web mail client which allows unlimited email accounts, all crews are able to connect with the outside world via a business or private roaming email account. They are also able to access to the same messages onboard ship or from shore.

With seamless compatibility with the new KVH's TracPhone V7 mini-VSAT system and the existing Inmarsat Fleet 77 system, Dualog Connection Suite ensures that traffic onboard Clipper's tankers will always stay at a minimum to avoid unnecessary costs. In addition, DuaCore Pro enables prioritisation of traffic and maximises bandwidth availability for business critical communication.
