eCatch chosen on two newbuildings in Norway

Two brand new Norwegian fishing vessels have chosen eCatch for electronic reporting of catch and catch activity. They are joining more than 500 other fishing vessels already using eCatch for their day to day mandatory electronic reporting and commercial reporting.

Frøyanes

Owned by Ervik Havfiske, the 60 meter long autoliner Frøyanes is Norway´s largest longliner. She is probably the world´s most advanced fishing vessel.  There is no vaste at all as 100% of the fish is frosen, filleted or canned. The diesel electric propulsion system secures high energy efficiency and a low emission rate.  The crew facilites are excellent including Internet, email, sauna, cinema etc.

Ervik Havfiske uses eCatch for mandatory electronic reporting to the Fisheries Authorites, for or their own commercial reporting and for documentation according to the MSC and KRAV environmental certification.
